Glux (OpenGL Utility & Auxiliary Library) is a flexible C++ library to aid development in OpenGL.
- A flexible C++ library containing utility and auxiliary functions and classes to aid OpenGL application development.
- Function and class names try to follow the OpenGL naming convention, making the library easier to use.

- Built-in support for loading RAW and TGA (RLE compression supported) images.
- Utility functions, such as basic INI loading, figures (gluxWireSphere, …).

Breaking into the Australian Games Industry
November 4th, 2008
Yusuf Pisan at ITS in Sydney has some good suggestions about finding games jobs in Australia.
I would also suggest looking internationally too. Some countries are easier to work in than others.
- Japan – need Japanese language, very tough to get work, difficult to get work visa, high cost of living.
- USA – solid tech industry, jobs are geographically varied, temporary work visas are easier than they have been.
- UK – good access for Australian citizens.
- Germany – I have always enjoyed working with Germans, English is widely spoken.
